My Story

Hello! I'm Valerie, the heart behind Bold Profit Solutions. I hail from the picturesque town of Red Wing, MN, where I grew up and faced my share of life's challenges early on. At the young age of 15, I became a mother. While many might view this as a setback, my daughter became the beacon of hope that illuminated my path forward. She was not just my first child; she was my lifeline, offering me unconditional love and a reason to persevere through the darkest times.

Battling severe depression from a young age, I was no stranger to adversity. But motherhood instilled in me a resilience and purpose that transformed my life. I embraced the role of both mother and father when her dad left us during my pregnancy. As my daughter grew, so did our little family. Although my subsequent marriage introduced significant challenges, including enduring and eventually escaping domestic violence, these trials only strengthened my resolve to forge a better life for my children and myself.

My journey of empowerment truly began when I decided to turn my passion for business and accounting—a love I share with my grandmother and aunt—into a career. Motivated by the desire to provide for my family and set a positive example, I enrolled in an associate degree program in accounting. Juggling the roles of a single parent and working three jobs, I completed the rigorous three-year program in just two years, nearly making the Dean's List—an achievement that still fills me with immense pride.

Today, I am the proud mother of three incredible children. My eldest daughter, a survivor like her mother, is now a successful pharmacy tech, married, and soon to be a mother of two. My son, who graduated high school early, is eagerly anticipating a career in carpentry, while my youngest daughter, wise beyond her years, continues to bring joy and sweetness into our lives.

From the ashes of our trials, we have risen like a phoenix, now living a life filled with love and light. My children, my greatest accomplishments, have thrived against all odds, driven by the single parent who never gave up on them—or herself.
